27 Feb 10 How Can Eating Less Cause You To Not Lose Weight?

Like I heard if you eat less than 1200 calories a day, you will not Lose weight. How is this possible? And what about bulimics and anorexics? They obviously eat less than 1200 calories a day and they lose weight.
Also my sister in law eats only once a day and it is way less than 1200 calories and she is a size 2.

20 Feb 10 How Many Calories Should I Be Eating In Order To Lose Weight?

Hi everybody.
I have been trying to figure out how many calories I should be eating in order to Lose weight and I can’t quite figure it out. I’m trying to lose about 10 pounds. I’m 20 years old, 5″5″ and 120 pounds. I run on the treadmill for 50 minutes usually about 5 times a week and will soon being some mild weight training.

20 Feb 10 How Long Will It Take To Lose Weight By Barely Eating?

i have tried and tried exercise and low calorie diets. I can’t seem to lose anything. Maybe 2 pounds here or there, but nothing significant. I absolutely have to Lose weight, due to family history health problems. How long would it take for me to lose up to 40-50 pounds if I barely ate, took vitamins, and drank a bunch of water?

I have tried all sort of “Fats Loss” products and most of them advocate a “Low fat, Low carb, Low Calorie” programs.
I have tried but could not maintain for long because it is really tough to maintain and results I’m getting is not ideal though I am dieting hard!
Can anyone advise is there any ways to “Loss Fats” without dieting or eating diet pills?

17 Feb 10 How Can You Lose Weight Fast Without Eating Vegetables?

so im trying to lose 20 lbs. and eat healthier. but i HATE vegetables. like even if i force myself to eat it, i gag on it. i like alot of fruits and stuff but everyone says i need veggies. i was thinking of detox, but after that, then what? or maybe drop the meats… but then i cant eat fruits all day everyday…can i?

06 Feb 10 My Friend Lost Weight By Eating 6 Small Meals Per Day. What Is An Example Of A Given Day’s 6 Meals?

Man, I feel like I answer this question frequently, but here goes:
Breakfast - 1 serving of Oatmeal w/water (1/2 cup is one serving and can be measured with about 6 spoons of oats - the regular small cereal-sized spoon)
Mid-morning snack - Apple or banana
Lunch - 2 cups of Whole Grain brown rice and 3-4 ounces of boneless skinless chicken. OK…Uncle Ben’s makes “Ready Rice” which takes 90 seconds to microwave. The cost where I live is about $1.90 per package. I actually cheat on the chicken and have a little more, just to get more protein, and dammit it is good.
Mid-afternoon snack - I will have some almonds, or a couple of spoons of cottage cheese with two handfuls of grapes or strawberries. When I get that afternoon sweet-tooth, I turn to cottage cheese and low fat yogurt.
Dinner - Some meat (6 ounces), chicken or any red meat is fine if it isn’t jammed full of fat. Look at the meat and cut away the big chunks of fat. After doing that for a while, I just sort of lost my zest for eating red meats with alot of fat on it. Sides can be a small baked potato or even a baked sweet potato. Green beans, salads, asparagus, pinto beans and other veggies are good and when you are hungry still, the veggies are what you load up on because they don’t add much in the realm of fat and/or calories.
There are five meals listed here. If you wanted to eat something after dinner, then I go back to cottage cheese w/fruit or just a piece of fruit.
Other foods to consider: whole grain English muffins for breakfast are a good fast start, or even for the snacks. Tuna with low fat mayo is good.
The thing that is cool about doing this is that pretty quickly I didn’t always feel hungry. I can’t sit down and gorge myself with food like I once did. Also, after seeing the results I am more aware of what I am eating and just won’t eat like crap any more.
Now the question is always: “Can I still go to McDonald’s or have ice cream or pizza or other foods that everybody loves?” The answer: YES! I will do this once per week mainly due to lack of planning the night before, where I need to grab a quick meal during the work day. Don’t beat yourself up over this, as eating isn’t about depriving yourself of what is good…it is simply being smarter about what fuel you put into your body.
